ARIA is a research assistant that retrieves first, answers second, and leaves citations. Gokul did not start ARIA. He joined the team. His bar: if they cannot show the work, they should not ship the sentence. Internals stay with the team. Writing: https://www.gokulakrishnan.dev/writing/aria ### Quarix Founded Quarix (https://www.quarix.one). Freelance studio growing into a software company. Builds AI agents, websites, mobile apps, and SaaS for teams that want ideas shipped as polished software. ### Finlio Personal AI finance teammate, built as founder and engineer with Beny. One view of money across banks, brokers, SIPs, EPF, plus a short morning brief in plain English. Default is local and readable; cloud is optional. Web first. Live at https://www.finlio.app. He is not trying to replace a broker or tell anyone what to buy. He is trying to stop people from being the integration layer between their own accounts. Writing: https://www.gokulakrishnan.dev/writing/finlio ### Freelance Freelance AI Developer at an Eye Hospital in Chennai — Myopia Prediction Platform. - AI-powered clinical decision support for predicting therapeutic lens (Stellest Lens) uptake in myopia progression management. - Machine learning models on 251+ patient clinical records. - Interactive visual analytics for clinical risk stratification. - Automated PDF clinical reports with personalized treatment recommendations. ## Education Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai, India. Sep 2022 – May 2026. B.Tech. in Computer Science (Specialization: AI & Data Science). CGPA: 8.26/10. ## Skills - Languages & Frameworks: Python, R, JavaScript, Node.js, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas - AI/ML: Hugging Face, NLP, Federated Learning, Regression, Classification, Clustering - Cloud & DevOps: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Vercel, Docker, Git, CI/CD - Databases: Supabase (PostgreSQL, Auth, Storage, Realtime APIs) ## Academic projects ### Intelligent Query Routing Framework for LLM Orchestration Sep 2025 – Jan 2026. IEEE Conference Presentation, March 2026. https://github.com/Gokulakrishnxn - Web-based routing that classifies queries and sends them to GPT-4, Claude 3.5, or Llama 3 by task complexity. 93.7% routing accuracy. - Heuristic intent classification in under 20ms. - Next.js 14 and Vercel Edge Functions. 42% cost reduction and 39% latency improvement vs a single-model setup across 100 test queries. - Streaming via Server-Sent Events. PII redaction and prompt-injection mitigation. Tested toward 10,000 concurrent requests. ### REX Healthify — AI Health Assistant Oct 2025 – Nov 2025. 4th Place, OpenAI × NxtWave Buildathon. https://github.com/Gokulakrishnxn - Gemini AI health assistant: medical record management and emergency doctor discovery. - Medication reminders, voice interaction, NFC emergency access. - 4th place among 1,000+ teams. ### Privacy-Preserving Federated Learning for Drone Swarm Sep 2025 – Nov 2025. One view of your money. A brief before the market opens. He kept opening five apps to answer one question: what do I actually have. A bank here, a broker there, something remembered at tax time. The numbers were never missing. They were never in the same room. Finlio is the thing he wanted on those nights. Not another tracker abandoned in three weeks. A quiet teammate that keeps the picture together and taps when something in his own money is about to matter. He is building it as a founder and as the person who writes the code. Beny and he started from ordinary frustration. If you grew up around Indian money, you already know the split: savings in one place, SIPs in another, EPF in a portal visited twice a year. Apps are fine at showing a number. They go quiet when that number is about to change. He did not want a dashboard that waits for discipline. He wanted something that shows up in the morning and says, in regular English, why the things he already owns might move today. That daily note is the first habit. Most of his day is engineering: calm interfaces, systems that do not flinch. The founder part is deciding what not to build. Money is personal, so the default is local, readable, and easy to take with you. Cloud is a choice, not the price of entry. Web first. Phones come when the desk product is already good. Finlio is early. Live at https://www.finlio.app. Two people close to the problem. He is not replacing a broker. He is not telling anyone what to buy. He is trying to stop you from being the integration layer between your own accounts. ### ARIA — 22 Jul 2026 — /writing/aria ARIA is a research assistant that answers with sources, not vibes. He works on it as an AI Engineer at The Binary Holdings. He did not start this product. He joined a team that already understood the problem: intelligence work falls apart when you cannot see where an answer came from. His job is to keep the model honest. Retrieve first. Speak second. Leave a trail a person can follow. Most search dumps links. Most chat sounds sure when it is guessing. ARIA sits in the middle: find the material that supports an answer, then say what it used. He works on the AI side: how a question is understood, how context is gathered, how a response stays tied to evidence. Citations a human can open. Answers that get quieter when sources are thin. He will not unpack internals here. If they cannot show the work, they should not ship the sentence. The value is not a flashy reply. It is a person who can keep asking follow-ups and still land on something they can defend. If ARIA does its job, research gets faster without getting sloppy. ## Album Photographs at /album.
